Day 10 -- Tiekel River to Valdez

61 miles
Thompson Pass (2678 ft)

Headwinds climbing to the pass and pedaling through Keystone Canyon
didn't even matter because the scenery was so extraordinary. It was a
tough ride for some of us but worth it.

Just caught up on your whole blog. The views look spectacular but it sounds like you need a sail to attach to the bike or something.

Where exactly does that bug balm you mentioned at the beginning get used?

Looking forward to hearing all about the trip on your return.

Hi to all.

Congrats on completing your journey! Well done. And, thank you for doing an awesome job on your blog and allowing us to live vicariously through you. Beats personally enduring the headwinds and the mosquitoes; although, I'm sorry I missed out on your great adventure and Carol's candy. Susan
